Mastiha Oil is the essential oil obtained from the distillation process of natural mastic with steam. The yield mastic varies depending on the quality of mastic of 1% - 3%. First used in Germany in Braunschweig city by dry distillation. In 1573 it became known in circles of Berlin pharmacists and later in 1580 in "Avgousteio Pharmacopoeia" (Pharmacopoea Augustiana).

Mastiha Oil is a 100% natural product containing an extraordinary array of therapeutic, aromatic and flavoring ingredients. It is used as basic ingredient in health and care products, and it is also used in the food and beverages industry.
